SAMOSIR, SUMUTPOS.CO – Sebanyak 50 warga ikuti workshop tentang Homestay dan Desa Wisata yang digelar Kementerian Pariwisata (Kemenpar), di Huta Balian, Kecamatan Sianjur Mulamula, persisnya dibawah kaki Pusuk Buhit, Jumat (14/6).
Pemerintah Kabupaten Samosir melalui Plt Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Samosir, Daulat Nainggolan mengapresiasi apa yang sudah dilakukan Kemenpar kepada 50 warga yang juga pemilik homestay di Samosir tersebut.
Daulat berharap Kemenpar tidak bosan memberikan bimbingan dan arahan kepada masyarakat tentang Desa Wisata. “Ini sudah kesekian kalinya Kemenpar datang. Selain memberikan bantuan, juga memberikan pengetahuan yang penting untuk masyarakat Desa Wisata di Samosir,” ujar Daulat.
Sementara itu, Asisten Deputi Bidang Pengembangan Destinasi Regional I Kementerian Pariwisata, Lokot Ahmad Enda mengatakan, Rumah Batak (Jabu Sopo) harus dilestarikan. Pasalnya, rumah tradisional milik warga yang dijadikan homestay ini menjadi kekuatan Desa Wisata di Samosir. “Dengan keunikan dan keaslian rumah Batak ini, membuat wisatawan lebih berhasrat ingin menginap di homestay di Desa Wisata ini. Sebab mereka ingin merasakan sensasinya,” ujar Lokot.
Namun, Lokot mengingatkan para pelaku homestay agar memperhatikan kebersihan, khususnya toilet. Menurutnya, bila toilet bersih, tamu akan lebih betah tinggal di homestay. “Karena kesan yang dibawa tamu adalah kenyamanan, itu yang menentukan adalah kebersihan. Mereka akan lebih betah bila toiletnya bersih selain kamarnya,” kata Lokot.
Untuk memenuhi standar kelayakan kamar, Kemenpar memberikan bantuan untuk homestay di dua desa wisata ini. Bantuan berupa berupa 10 paket untuk masing-masing Desa Wisata. Satu paket berisi 1 springbed, 2 bantal, 2 guling, 1 seprei, 1 bed cover, dan 1 buku tamu.
“Homestay di sini nanti tinggal membenahi toiletnya. Hanya dengan modal beberapa ratus ribu untuk beli keramik, toilet pasti sudah bagus. Dananya bisa menggunakan dari Dana Desa atau Dana Alokasi Khusus (DAK),” tuturnya. Selain itu, Lokot juga menyarankan untuk lebih mengembangkan commercial value desa wisata. Di antaranya barang khas yang bisa dijadikan oleh-oleh pengunjung desa wisata.(mag-8/han)
Desa Simbolon
Desa Simbolon mempromosikan keindahan Samosir. Desa ini bisa menjadi daya tarik besar bagi wisatawan, terutama wisatawan asing. Pengunjung bisa melakukan hal yang menarik seperti menanam bunga, bertani, menikmati keindahan pemandangan sawah, makan makanan lokal, menghabiskan waktu bersama penduduk setempat, dan mengunjungi tempat wisata terdekat. Desa ini juga dilengkapi beberapa kios suvenir. Anda bisa membeli barang tradisional Batak seperti ukiran kayu, kain ulos, dan masih banyak lagi. Karena ada banyak barang unik, Anda harus menyiapkan uang yang cukup. Yang penting, Anda harus tahu bagaimana menawar.
Desa Simbolon memiliki beberapa akomodasi, Ada juga beberapa restoran lokal. Selain itu, penduduk setempat biasanya menyewakan sepeda atau sepeda motor sehingga Anda bisa menjelajahi desa. Apa aktivitas selanjutnya? Anda bisa menghabiskan uang Anda untuk mengunjungi beberapa hotel eksklusif. Dalam hal ini, pastikan Anda telah menyewa pemandu wisata. Dia membantu Anda berbicara dengan penduduk setempat.
Daya tarik lain di Desa Simbolon adalah kulinernya. Makanan lokal selalu menggoda. Misalnya ada kue Lampet. Kue ini terbuat dari gula merah, parutan kelapa, dan tepung beras. kue lappet agak lengket dan rasanya manis. Kue itu adalah pasangan yang sempurna untuk secangkir teh hangat. Anda bisa menikmati ini dengan menyaksikan keindahan alam sekitar. Ada juga Mie Gomak. Belum lagi bisa disajikan dalam berbagai bentuk. Makanan ini hanya contohnya saja. Itu karena Anda bisa mencoba masakan khas Batak lainnya di Simbolon.
Desa Wisata Tomok Sumatera Utara
Tomok adalah sebuah desa kecil yang berada di daerah Sumatera Utara. Tepatnya berada di pesisir timur daerah Samosir, komplek Danau Toba, propinsi Sumatera Utara. Di dalam desa ini memang sudah terkenal oleh masyarakat luas tentang keindahan desa kecil ini pada sector pariwisata dan perdagangan yang sudah meluas ke daerah lain. Karena di dalam desa kecil ini kita aka menemukan banyak sekali peninggalan-peninggalan barang atau benda yang memiliki nilai sejarah yang tinggi.
Selain itu, ternyata di dalam Desa Wisata Tomok yang tidak begitu luas ini sentuhan-sentuhan budaya modern sudah banyak di lakukan oleh masyarakatnya. Hal ini terlihat dari arsitektur bangunan rumah, makam, gereja, dan masih banyak lagi yang lainnya. Dimana pada bangunan tersebut sudah ada unsure modern yang sangat kuat. Selain itu, dari segi bahasa pun mereka sudah sedikit demi sedikit mengerti bahasa inggris, terlihat dari cara mereka berkomunikasi dengan wisatawan asing.
Sejarah yang ada di daerah ini memang sangat terkenal di mancanegara. Bagaimana tidak, di daerah ini ternyata terdapat berbagai benda peninggalan sejarah dari zaman megalitikum sampai pada zaman purba pun ada di desa kecil ini. Sehingga tak heran jika pemerintah saat ini mulai serius untuk menjadikan daerah ini sebagai salah satu tempat yang paling bersejarah di Indonesia dan membangun cagar budaya di daerah ini. Sehingga untuk ke depannya Desa Wisata Tomok ini akan maju pesat.
